With this recording, soprano Michelle Murray Fiertek presents a collection of songs lovingly grown in the American tradition, which audibly draw influence from domestic genres like folk and musical theatre.
The last track on the album features the Joni Mitchell song “You Turn Me On, I’m a Radio”, arranged by Liam Wade performed by Michelle Murray Fiertek (soprano) and Pablo Issa (cello).

Soprano Ann Moss will be singing a several of my Joni Mitchell arrangements as part of the musical tribute to poet-composer Joni Mitchell on the occasion of her 75th birthday on November 7, 2018!
The tribute concert will be hosted in the intimate ambiance and sublime acoustic of Berkeley’s Back Room. Featuring vocalist Ann Moss with pianist Matt Berkeley, cellist Emil Miland, harpist Meredith Clark, guitarist Carrie Smith, violinist Justin Ouellet, guitarist Patrick Anseth, and a host of special guests.
Lots to celebrate this fall: An Oktoberfest performance of my newest opera in Dresden, and the return to the stage of my oldest opera in Little Rock. Plus, a new recording and a birthday bash for Joni Mitchell.
